As a businessman he was legendary for customer service before profit - a rare quality in today’s world and, above all, he was a great supporter of the underwater photography community. He will be sorely missed but fondly remembered and my condolences go out to his family and to his extended family, all the staff at Ikelite. The sad news is that Ike Brigham, founder of Ikelite Underwater Systems, passed away just before Christmas. I had the pleasure of meeting him both socially and for business several years ago and he left a lasting impression. He was a genuine man, passionate and good humoured, whose honest enthusiasm never diminished with time. In his latter years he embraced the digital age at a time of life when most would be daunted.
