Keen readers will be familiar with Wade and Robyn’s whale images in several back issues of UwP and it has been a pleasure to work with them over the years, to feature their special images and to keep in touch intermittently with news of trips or just feedback and opinions. I have been a great admirer of their work and how they operate so I was delighted to accept their request to write a Preface for their book ‘Looking for Whales’ and also to review it for UwP. As an electronic publisher I am obviously a fan of the pdf format both for presentation and delivery so I was more than happy to receive a pre launch electronic version to review on an iMac 27” 5k screen - as good if not better in some ways than the printed product, lacking the tactile page turning perhaps but having no annoying centre spine. Having been kept abreast of the development of this book I began to eagerly anticipate it…
