price difference to be considered as well, but when you add up the cost of the extra adaptors and add a couple of gears the difference narrows and for me it was worth the extra to stay in my comfort zone and avoid what would have been a compromise for me. They say that familiarity breeds contempt, but this statement positively could not have come from a Subal owner. Since the F100 and F5 housings the design and positioning of the main controls has remained a constant so that whenever you handle a new Subal housing it immediately feels familiar. There are of course extra function buttons and some new positions for existing ones as a result of camera body design, but maintaining the familiarity and excellent ergonomics of the major controls means that you can start shooting immediately in the primary modes leaving you more time to ponder on which of the D7100’s many improved functions will…
